The Opaque Objects series created by Martin Bergström, draws inspiration from the cosmic allure of outer space and the enigmatic beauty of the henbane plant. With this collection, Bergström sought to intertwine Skultuna’s 400-year legacy of craftsmanship and tradition. Delving into the brand’s archives, he uncovered the rich history of Skultuna and its surroundings. His research led him to a striking discovery – a meteorite had crashed just miles from Skultuna on June 28, 1876. This celestial event became the catalyst for the collection, infusing it with an otherworldly elegance and a sense of timeless mystery.
